Once there were two lepre-chauns walking in the woods on a fine March day. One was a brash young fellow named Skiddley, the other was an old-time dyed-in-the-green leprechaun by the name of Broadwaller. As they walked they heard a human. “Watch out, Skiddley, lad,” said Broadwaller, quickly stepping behind a tall clump of shamrocks. “Don’t let the human see you! If he spies us, he’ll want our pot of gold for sure.”
